Do you ever have those days where you wish you could just press rewind, wake up, and start all over again? Yeah. Today was one of those days. You know. One of those where at the end, eating, showering, even sleeping just really seem like too much work.
Needless to say, I was in no mood for a workout. I actually seriously considered leaving work and going home and getting straight into bed. At 5:00. However, my car was apparently on autopilot and I drove to the gym out of habit. After 15 minutes on the bike and a few ab exercises, I felt ready to tackle yoga. And after yoga, I felt almost back to my usual self. A little adrenaline and self-centering provided just the pick-me-up I needed. Definitely glad I didn't skip my workout. Although I wouldn't have minded sleeping for 13 hours...
